| 2008-09-08 2008 with Scott Bicycles and Diablo on board has been quite the experience. I've been able to race and qualify at two world cups. Which as been a qoal of mine since I started racing in 01'. Now I have the gravity east series points chase in my sites. I have to keep consistency on my side. You stay classy!! |
| 2008-05-26 2008 US Open of Mountain biking with a newly revised smoother faster course has come to a close on this fine memorial day weekend. With little to no expectation in the Dual to do well. I found myself in the top 8 facing Jared Rando underneath the lights at Diablo Freeride Park. But after a few mistakes he ended up knocking me out.
The following day was the Downhill finals. After quailifying very poorly and almost not making it in because I wasn't focused, found myself hanging out in the hot seat for quite some time. Because being unthroned. All and all I ended up 19th, 11 seconds behind Steve Smith. Not bad for a quy who has to work for a living.
One other thing the cheering in the Toyota Rock Garden was outstanding. Thanks so much. |
| 2008-04-04 In just 54 short hours of straight driving, 6 cups of coffee, 5 monster, and 3 sobe energy drinks the gnar van and its crew made it back to good ole' NY. 1 alternator, 1 set of brake pads, 3 oil changes, 10,000 miles, and about 40 tanks of gas and the van is still kickin' and kickin' strong. If anyone plans on takes three months off to ride mountain bikes I recommend going to So Cal in the winter. For three months straight I shralped some of the best trails I've ever rode my minions on. Some of the most rad and chill people live there. To make the trip even better a whole bunch of my local homie's came out and rode. Leif and PJ staying the longest and traveled back across the country side. And I'd like to thank my girl friend Shannon for putting up with me for three months. Because I know how hard it was to put up with her. OHHHH. |
